Our Review Methodology

Every review on this site is based on the same standardized test: 15,000 meal photos across 10 global cuisines, three difficulty tiers, and a triple-submit protocol. Each composite score weights five dimensions: food recognition rate (30%), portion estimation error (25%), processing speed (20%), food category coverage (15%), and adaptive coaching capability (10%).

No app developer has paid for placement, influenced scoring criteria, or seen our test images in advance. Reviews are updated annually as apps release new model versions.
